We are looking for a candidate with good attention to detail for the position of diesel mechanic.

The duties include primary inspection of truck engines to find faults. You would need to analyze diagnostic test results and repair or replace engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components. Working as a diesel technician can be a highly satisfying career path.

Responsibilities:
• Running diagnostic test on vehicles
• Analyzing test results
• Replacing any part of the truck for e.g., engine, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
• Checking vehicle lighting systems
• Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
• Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks
• Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
• Maintaining a parts inventory

Requirements:
• Diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering
• Valid driving license
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components
• Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
